What Is Dry Needling?
Dry needling is a form of alternative medicine that has been gaining traction as an effective treatment for pain management. Dry needles can be inserted into trigger points in muscles, releasing negative symptoms and giving relief from chronic aches without carrying any risk like traditional acupuncture does because it doesn't use serums or toxins but only tiny thin filaments designed specifically to penetrate deeply enough so they don’t destroy surrounding tissue while still being able touch skin surface easily with no breaking off at all!
What A Visit Looks Like
A dry needling treatment will usually include a session in which you will lie or sit on the table with a small area of skin exposed (part of your body where you are feeling the pain). The needles will be inserted into the trigger points of your muscles. Typically the needles are left inserted for about 5-10 minutes in order to release the trigger points in the muscle. A stim unit may or may not be used, depending on symptoms, to increase the efficacy of the treatment.
